Can Meta Instant Form leads book a meeting on my calendar right after they submit?

By The Tofu team ·

Yes, with the Book time action in the Ending section of a Leads campaign's Instant Form. Since Meta's June 23, 2026 launch, a Calendly or HighLevel calendar can load on the form's Thank You page, with the lead's name, email and phone filled in. The calendar embeds only on the Facebook mobile app; on Instagram and other placements, Book time opens your booking page in an in-app browser. Meta planned HubSpot for early August, but its help page still says only Calendly and LeadConnector calendars embed. Bookings don't show in Ads Manager, and not every account has it yet.

As of October 2026.

How do I add Book time to my Instant Form?

You add it in the form's Ending section. Meta's steps:

  1. In Ads Manager, click + Create, choose Leads as the campaign objective and click Continue.
  2. At the ad set level, choose Instant forms as the conversion location.
  3. Create your Instant Form and go to the Ending section.
  4. Under Additional actions, select Book time.
  5. Paste your booking link under Scheduling link. Ads Manager detects your calendar provider and shows a live preview of the embedded calendar.
  6. Finish the form and click Publish.

Meta says the link must be a direct booking link from your scheduling partner. Custom URLs and calendar pages you embedded on your own site won't load inside the form.

Which calendar tools does it work with?

Calendly and HighLevel. Meta's help page says embedded booking "currently" supports only Calendly and LeadConnector calendars, and HighLevel's own help article tells you to paste its LeadConnector calendar link, since branded-domain links may not show a preview and may open a browser in live ads. Any other scheduling link still works with Book time, but it opens in an in-app browser instead of inside the form.

Does Book time work with HubSpot Meetings?

As a link, yes, but the embedded calendar isn't confirmed. Meta's June announcement said HubSpot support was "planned subsequently in early August." Its help page lists a HubSpot account among the things you need, yet says embedding "currently" supports only Calendly and LeadConnector calendars, and we found no HubSpot documentation on it. Paste your HubSpot meeting link and check for the live calendar preview in Ads Manager; without it, expect leads to get the in-app browser version.

Why don't I see Book time in my Instant Form?

Most likely it hasn't reached your account yet. Meta's help page on messages for leads notes that Book time "may not be available to you yet," and its June announcement expected full global availability in October. Check that the campaign uses the Leads objective with Instant forms as the conversion location; one Meta help page puts Book time under Additional actions in the Ending section, another lists it as a call-to-action button under Message for leads, so look in both. For its own integration, HighLevel's June 24 press release gave a staged rollout: 25% of advertisers on June 24, 50% on August 10 and full availability in November.

Does the calendar embed on Instagram or desktop?

No. Meta says embedded booking is only available for ads delivered on the Facebook mobile app. On other placements, such as Instagram, leads see a Book time button that opens your booking page in a separate in-app browser.

What carries over from the form, and who sends the confirmation?

The lead's name, email and phone number fill in automatically in the embedded calendar, Meta says. Your calendar provider handles the booking and sends confirmation emails to both you and the lead, and confirmed appointments appear in Calendly or HighLevel. Meta doesn't say whether other form answers carry over, and it describes the prefill only for the embedded version.

Can I see booked meetings in Ads Manager?

No. Meta says appointment booking data isn't currently reported in Ads Manager, so you check confirmed bookings in your calendar provider's dashboard. HighLevel users can trigger workflows from its "Customer Booked Appointment" event. If you want Meta to learn which leads book, send booked meetings back as a lead stage through the Conversions API for CRM; our guide on sending HubSpot or Salesforce lead stages to Meta covers the setup.

Can I change the Book time button text?

Yes. Meta's announcement suggests text such as "Schedule a demo" or "Book a consultation" and puts the limit at 40 characters, as does its lead nurturing help page. Its help page on messages for leads says 60 characters, so keep it to 40 or fewer to be safe.

Is Book time the same as the Appointment request question?

No. Appointment request is a form question where people give a preferred date and time and you follow up yourself; its availability defaults to Monday to Sunday, 7am to 10pm, and Meta says you can't change that yet. Adding it also limits your ad to the Facebook app on mobile devices. Book time instead shows leads your real calendar after they submit.

Do I need a paid Calendly or HighLevel plan?

Not for Calendly: its Meta Ads integration page lists the Free, Standard, Teams and Enterprise plans. HighLevel's help article doesn't say which of its plans include the feature.
