Do I have to pay for Meta One to get a real person at Meta to help with my ad account?

By The Tofu team ·

No. Meta One, announced September 15, 2026, sells human support cases from $49.99 a month, but Meta doesn't say they cover ad account problems. Meta's help center lists 1 case a month on Advanced, 5 on Expert and unlimited on Max, while Meta's announcement lists human support only on Expert and Max. Plans are priced per Page or profile, not per ad account. The free route is still Business Support Home, which offers Contact support and a Meta AI support assistant, though Meta doesn't say who reaches a person. Start there.

Prices are from Meta's announcement, in US dollars. The Meta help articles we could read list no prices. Meta says plans, benefits, pricing and availability "may vary by region, by app, and by account."

When Business Support Home is the right pick

Always first, and for most ad account problems it's the only route built for them. Meta's own phone support page says advertisers can contact Meta through Business Support Home. That hub shows the status of your business portfolio, ad accounts and Pages, lets you request a review of rejected ads or assets, and lists Contact support. It also offers "Chat with Meta AI support assistant," which Meta says can "resolve issues, make changes and get support in real time."

Meta's ad rejection guidance page also offers to "Connect with a Meta Support Pro for troubleshooting rejected ads, account restrictions and more," and links to its Meta Pro Team program. That page asked us to log in, so we couldn't confirm who qualifies.

Ignore anyone offering a Meta support phone line. Meta says it "doesn't have a general public phone number available for customer service," and "Phone numbers claiming to be for Meta customer support are potentially scams."

When Meta One Advanced is the right pick

When you want its Page and profile tools anyway, and treat the support case as a bonus. Advanced adds scheduling, links in organic posts and Reels, analytics and shared Instagram access. If links are your reason, how Meta's Page link limit works covers what Advanced allows.

To use a case, open support in the app. On Facebook, go to your profile, then Menu and Help and Support. On Instagram, go to your profile, then Menu, Settings and activity and More info and support. Ask the Meta AI support assistant, then select Chat with someone from support. Meta says the assistant "can answer many questions and resolve issues on its own," so try it before you use a case.

The catch for advertisers: the plan covers one profile, not your ad account, and Meta's support article names no ad topics. Meta's own announcement also doesn't list human support on Advanced. Check what your account is offered during sign-up before you pay for this reason alone.

When Meta One Expert or Max is the right pick

When one brand's Page or Instagram account brings in real revenue and you need help often. Expert gives 5 cases a month and Max no limit. Meta says "higher plans also get higher-priority case management and faster resolution times." Its About Meta One Plans article adds that on Expert and Max you can "request a call back from an agent" on Facebook and Instagram, and that on Expert each call counts toward your 5.

For agencies, the math is hard. Each plan covers one profile, so ten client Pages means ten plans, and none of them is tied to the clients' ad accounts. A B2B company that mostly runs ads, with little organic posting, gets the least from these plans.

Meta also says Meta One is rolling out "to eligible businesses," and its sign-up article calls it "currently in limited testing." You may not see it yet.

When Meta Verified for businesses is the right pick

When you already have it. Meta's help center lists chat and email support on every Meta Verified for businesses plan, prioritized support on Plus and above, phone call requests on Premium and Max, and "agent monitoring" of active cases on Max. It requires Advanced Protection on the business portfolio, which you can't turn off while subscribed. Its help page doesn't say whether that support covers ad accounts, and lists no prices.

Meta says "nothing changes for current subscribers right now" and that it will tell you when you can switch to Meta One. It hasn't said when, or whether Meta Verified stays open to new businesses.
