Can it change my campaigns from Slack?
Yes. It can build, change, pause and undo across your LinkedIn, Google and Meta accounts. New campaigns start paused, changes from people who aren't members of your Tofu workspace wait for a member's approval, and deletes always ask once more.
Who can install it?
An admin of your Tofu workspace connects it once, from Settings → Connections in Tofu. If your Slack workspace only allows approved apps, Slack asks one of your Slack admins to approve it first.
Who can approve changes?
Members of your Tofu workspace, matched by their Slack email. Teammates and clients in the channel can ask for things; a member approves with the button or a reply, and the card records who approved and when. An approval left alone expires after 24 hours and nothing changes.
What does it access in my Slack workspace?
Messages in the channels it works in and in direct messages with it, so it can answer and follow threads; members' names and emails, to match them to your Tofu workspace; and permission to post replies, approval cards and files. Slack shows the full list before you allow it. Our privacy policy covers what we collect and how we use it.
What does it post on its own?
Recommendations every Monday and Thursday, with last week's wins on Mondays. For Google Ads it also flags pacing problems, cost-per-conversion spikes and budget-limited campaigns when it finds them. Any other recurring check or report, you set up by asking.
We run several brands. Can one Slack handle that?
Yes. One Slack workspace can serve several Tofu workspaces, and each message goes to the right one by thread or channel, so #brand-b-ads talks to Brand B's accounts.
How do I remove it?
Click Disconnect next to Slack in Settings → Connections in Tofu, or remove Tofu Ads from your Slack workspace's app settings.
How do I get help?
Email [email protected] and a person on our team will get back to you.
