Is there a tool that checks whether my conversion tracking works on Google Ads, LinkedIn and Meta?

No free tool watches all three for you. Each platform checks its own tracking for free: Google Ads shows a status for every conversion action and a Diagnostics tab, LinkedIn shows a status for every conversion and data source, and Meta's Events Manager has Diagnostics and Test events. For most teams, those free checks are the place to start. If you want one place that watches all three and alerts you when a tag breaks, use a monitoring tool such as Trackingplan (from €89 per month). For a free spot check in your browser, use Omnibug.

When the platforms' own tools are the right pick

Pick these first. They are free, and they show what each ad platform actually received, which no outside tool can. Check each one after any site release or tag manager change.

PlatformWhere to lookWhat a problem looks like
Google AdsGoals > Summary: the Status column, then the Diagnostics tab"Needs attention" (issues, still recording), "Misconfigured" (stopped recording), "Awaiting conversions" (none in 7 days)
Google tag and GA4Tag Assistant (tagassistant.google.com) and GA4 Admin > Data display > DebugViewTags missing on pages, events not appearing as you click
LinkedInMeasure > Conversion tracking: the Status column. Data > Signals manager for each source"No recent activity" (last signal 4 to 7 days ago), "Inactive" (over 7 days), "Unverified" (Insight Tag has sent nothing), "Active: Low Match Rate" (Conversions API)
MetaEvents Manager Diagnostics and Test events tabs; the Meta Ads Data Advisor extensionCritical (red) or warning (yellow) issues; test events not appearing within a minute

Two recent changes help. Google's September 10, 2026 announcement added built-in diagnostics to Data Manager, which Google says can "automatically identify and address data issues," plus a Data Strength Uplift metric that calculates the additional conversions recovered by your first-party data setup. And Meta Pixel Helper is now Meta Ads Data Advisor. Meta's developer page says existing installs update automatically, it checks both Pixel and Conversions API events, and it can monitor your setup and notify you of issues.

The limits: you check three places, and the statuses look back over days, so a break can go unnoticed for a while. Google's enhanced conversions alerts don't show if you have fewer than 20 conversions in 7 days.

When Trackingplan is the right pick

Pick it if you run all three platforms and want an alert the day something breaks, not a status a week later. It inspects requests to ad platforms as your traffic flows, including conversions, values, click IDs and match keys, and shows pixel and Conversions API payloads side by side. Alerts go to Slack, Teams or email. It starts at €89 per month, and there is a 9-day trial (2 days to learn your setup, then 7 days free).

When ObservePoint is the right pick

Pick it if your concern is site-wide tag quality and consent, not just ad conversions. It scans your pages, runs multi-step journeys you define (for example, browse, add to cart, checkout) and alerts you when tags break. Its page names Meta Pixel and Floodlight but not Google Ads or LinkedIn by name, though it says "virtually any script or event-based tracking can be tested." Pricing isn't published; you can start a free trial or book a demo.

When Omnibug is the right pick

Pick it for quick, free checks. Open your site, submit a test form, and Omnibug shows each tag request in plain terms, including Google Ads, Facebook Pixel and LinkedIn Conversion tags. You can filter by account ID and export the session. It only sees what fires in your own browser, so it won't catch a break while you aren't looking, or confirm that the platform counted the conversion.

When Tofu Ads Agent (our product) is the right pick

Pick it if you also want help running the ads. Tofu includes a conversion tracking audit for Google Search, and it can set up conversion events on LinkedIn and Google for a page visit or a click. It doesn't audit Meta tracking, and it doesn't audit LinkedIn tracking. For those, use the platform tools above. It costs $2,500 per month, flat, for the whole agent, so it only makes sense if you want the rest of the agent too.
