How do I see my LinkedIn and Google Ads results by account in Demandbase?

By The Tofu team ·

Use the 3rd Party Campaigns page in Demandbase Advertising, after you turn on Sync for campaign reporting for each LinkedIn and Google Ads account under Settings > Integrated Systems > Integrations. The page shows spend, impressions and clicks from LinkedIn, Google and Demandbase side by side. For results by account, open the Domains tab. It only covers campaigns that targeted a Demandbase Audience, and it shows the accounts you targeted and how they engaged on your website. After you connect, past LinkedIn data takes 24 to 48 hours to appear, and Google data up to 8 days.

How do I turn on LinkedIn and Google Ads reporting in Demandbase?

Turn on Sync for campaign reporting for each ad account. Demandbase says this sync is only available for LinkedIn and Google Ads, and you need Demandbase Advertising plus Edit permission for the integrations settings.

  1. From the left navigation bar, go to Settings > Integrated Systems > Integrations.
  2. Select the checkbox next to each ad account you want.
  3. Toggle on Sync for campaign reporting and click Submit.

If you're setting up a new integration, the LinkedIn toggle is called Automatically sync for LinkedIn campaign reporting. For Google, enter your manager account (MCC) or customer ID without hyphens. Then find the email from Google Ads and approve the request to link your account to Demandbase's MCC manager account.

What does the 3rd Party Campaigns page show?

It puts your LinkedIn, Google and Demandbase campaigns in one place, with three parts:

PartWhat it shows
Trend graphSpend, impressions and clicks over time, for up to the past six months. You can compare up to five campaigns
Campaigns tableMetrics for each campaign across platforms, which you can view and export. You can filter by active, paused or completed. An Audience column shows which campaigns use Demandbase Audiences
Domains tabThe accounts your campaigns targeted and their on-site engagement (see the next question)

You can add labels to campaigns from the table. Labels on LinkedIn and Google campaigns only show inside Demandbase, not in Campaign Manager or Google Ads.

Demandbase launched this view as its Multi-channel Reporting dashboard in June 2025. Its blog post from June 20, 2025 says it "centralizes LinkedIn, Google, and onsite engagement data into a unified view." Its June 2025 product update says the data comes in automatically, so you no longer upload it by hand. The Audience column and the Domains tab came in Demandbase's April 2026 product update.

How do I see results by account?

Open the Domains tab on the 3rd Party Campaigns page. Demandbase's April 2026 product update says it "displays the specific accounts targeted by these campaigns and tracks their subsequent on-site engagement." Domain-level data is only available for campaigns that used Demandbase Audiences.

The help article text we could see in search results doesn't list or define the tab's metrics, so check them in your account.

Why is the Domains table empty for my LinkedIn campaign?

Most likely the campaign didn't target a Demandbase Audience, for example because you uploaded a company list straight into Campaign Manager or used only LinkedIn's own targeting. Check the Audience column in the Campaigns table.

To fix it for future campaigns, sync a Demandbase Audience to LinkedIn and target it. Demandbase's playbook says to go to Orchestration > Audiences, choose LinkedIn as the destination and pick the ad account. The first sync can take a few days, and later syncs run nightly. In Campaign Manager, the audience shows under Plan > Audiences with the source Third Party.

Can I see LinkedIn or Google impressions and clicks per account?

We couldn't confirm it. Demandbase describes the Domains tab as the accounts you targeted plus their on-site engagement, and its developer docs (updated September 22, 2026) point the same way. In Demandbase's export API, LinkedIn and Google data only come as a campaign summary. The daily and lifetime account-level reports only support Demandbase's own campaigns.

For LinkedIn numbers by company, use Campaign Manager. In Companies (click Plan, then Companies), LinkedIn says you get "insights into account engagement, impressions, and leads." It replaced the Company Engagement Report in November 2024.

For Demandbase's own ad campaigns, reached, visited and engaged accounts work differently. See How do I tell if my Demandbase ad campaign is working, and what do reached, visited and engaged accounts mean?

Why are my LinkedIn campaigns missing from Demandbase reporting?

Check these in order:

  • The sync is off for that ad account. Turn on Sync for campaign reporting (first question).
  • The data is still loading. Demandbase estimates 24 to 48 hours for past LinkedIn data and up to 8 days for Google on a new integration. After that, data updates about every 24 hours.
  • The person who connected LinkedIn lacks rights. Demandbase says the LinkedIn integration user must be an admin with write permissions in Campaign Manager. The ABM Agency's 2026 guide names the Billing Admin, Account Manager and Campaign Manager roles.
  • The connection expired. Demandbase says the LinkedIn access token is valid for one year, and you must re-authenticate after it expires. The ABM Agency's guide says the same. LinkedIn's developer docs put it a little differently: access tokens last 60 days and are renewed with a refresh token that lasts a year, after which the person must authorize the app again. Demandbase's steps to re-authenticate are to delete the integration and integrate the LinkedIn ad account again. It says audiences already in the LinkedIn ad account stay available.
  • A filter hides it. Check the active, paused and completed filters and your date range. The trend graph covers up to six months.

Why does my LinkedIn Sponsored Messaging campaign show only spend?

Demandbase says that for certain campaign types, such as LinkedIn Sponsored Message campaigns, only spend is available. Impressions and clicks aren't. Check those numbers in Campaign Manager instead.

Can I export LinkedIn and Google results out of Demandbase?

Yes. You can export campaign metrics from the Campaigns table. Developers can also use Demandbase's Data Export API: its campaign_summary report covers "LinkedIn, Google, or Demandbase campaigns" when you set the source to linkedin, google or all. Other ad report types only support Demandbase's own campaigns.

Where Tofu fits

Tofu doesn't connect to Demandbase or read its reports. It connects to your ad accounts and to HubSpot or Salesforce, and shows account journeys from first impression through opportunity to closed-won. It writes dynamic UTMs back to your CRM, and its analytics agent answers questions in plain language. Tofu is a full ads agent at a flat $2,500 a month, so it only fits if you also want help planning and running the campaigns.
